Sheets » Export worksheets as separate files...

With this utility you can save all or the selected worksheets in your workbook as separate files.
You can choose a folder in which you want the worksheets to be saved.

The worksheets can be saved in the following file formats:
  • Excel Workbook (*.xlsx) (only available if you have Excel 2007 or later)
  • Excel Binary Workbook (*.xlsb) (only available if you have Excel 2007 or later)
  • Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls)
  • CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)
  • Text (Delimited by semicolon ';') (*.txt)
  • Text (Tab delimited) (*.tsv)
  • Text unicode (Tab delimited) (*.tsv)
  • Formatted Text (Space delimited) (*.prn)
  • Text (Pipe (|) delimited) (*.txt)
  • DBF 4 (dBASE IV) (*.dbf) (only with Excel 2000, 2002/XP and 2003)
  • DBF 3 (dBASE III) (*.dbf) (only with Excel 2000, 2002/XP and 2003)
  • Web Page (*.htm, *.html)
  • Single File Web Page (*.mht, *.mhtml) (only with Excel 2002/XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010)
  • PDF (*.pdf) (only with Excel 2013, Excel 2010 and Excel 2007 SP2 or Excel 2007 SP1 with the MS PDF plugin installed)

    Your last used settings will be remembered.

    Remark:
    In Excel 2007, Excel 2010 and Excel 2013 the export to dBASE will not work; Microsoft has removed the option to save files in dBASE format from this Excel version and ASAP Utilities needs this built-in facility from Excel.

    Starting this utility

    In the Excel menu choose: ASAP Utilities » Sheets » Export worksheets as separate files...

    « Return to the list of “Sheets” tools.
