Issue

The CylancePROTECT software's "Macro Script Control" can block certain functionality, which can result in an error in ASAP Utilities such as:

Sorry, something unexpected went wrong at code line 31:
Show progress bar
Error 453: Can't find DLL entry point FindWindowA in user32.

Solution

We've got this reported a few times in the past decade, and then adding ASAP Utilities to a whitelist in Cylance PROTECT helped our clients to solve it.
