You have probably already heard from others or experienced yourself that ASAP Utilities can save you a lot of time with your work in Excel. But how much time (and money) does it actually save you in time?
Starting from version 4.5, ASAP Utilities keeps a history on your computer of which tools you use and how often you use them. Recently we have estimated for every tool in ASAP Utilities how much time it saves the average Excel user on average in seconds. With that extra information we have built a new tool to give you a clear understanding of the tools you use and the approximate time saved by ASAP Utilities.
The utility is in the menu at: ASAP Utilities Options » Show the time that ASAP Utilities has saved you
The report shows you the following information:
- how many days you have been actively using ASAP Utilities
- which tools you have used
- how many times you have used the tools
- how much time each tool saves on average in seconds
- the total time in minutes that each tool has approximately saved you
- the total time in hours that ASAP Utilities has saved you.
You can also enter your hourly rate to calculate the money saved. That will also help to calculate the ROI (return on investment) on ASAP Utilities.
(Besides time, ASAP Utilities also saves a lot of struggling and annoyance in Excel but we cannot express that in time or money.)

We have estimated the time saved. I've already heard from a few people that we have been a little low when we made the estimates and some tools save a lot more time but we'd like to hear your opinion on this too!
