Open Workbook's File Location in File Explorer

This tool opens the folder that contains your current Excel workbook in Windows File Explorer, with the file pre-selected.

Use it when you want to:

• Quickly locate the file you're working on
• Access, rename, or organize related files in the same folder
• Open the file's folder without browsing manually
• Add supporting documents to the workbook's location

Unlike Excel's built-in File > Info > Open file location (available only in recent Excel versions), our tool works in all Excel versions and highlights the file directly, saving you time.

Tip: Add this tool to your 'My Tools & Shortcuts' menu and assign a shortcut for even quicker access.
