Copy Sum of Selected Cells to Clipboard

This tool copies the sum of the visible cells in your selection directly to the clipboard.

Use this when you want to:

• Quickly copy a clean sum without using formulas
• Exclude filtered or hidden data from the total
• Paste the result into another application (e.g., Outlook, Word, Teams)

Your clipboard will contain the plain numeric total as text.

Note:
In 2024, Excel added the ability to copy totals from the status bar. However, its total includes data in hidden columns and manually hidden rows. In contrast, our tool only includes visible cells, making it more accurate when your selection contains filtered or partially hidden data.
