Installation

It is not necessary to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one. Make sure Excel is closed and then run the setup.

Uninstall

If you want to uninstall ASAP Utilities, use the option "remove ASAP Utilities from your computer" in your ASAP Utilities start menu. Detailed information is also available on our website and in the User Guide.

Upgrade twice a year

Since 2001 it's our policy to force an upgrade (free) every half year to make sure you are always using the best and most complete version. This does not apply to users with a license, they can choose your own time to upgrade to the new version.

New and improved utilities

• Text » Replace accented characters (á, ë, ñ etc.)...
  The following characters have been added: ă, ǻ, ĕ, ї, ĩ, ĭ
  If you don't see this characters when you start the utility, you will have to click on the 'Default' button in order to get them.
  
  

Bug fixes

• Fill » Insert after current value...
  Didn't work if you had a numeric cell and only choose to add something after the value is each cell. This bug was introduced in version 4.2.8 and is now fixed.
• Fill » Insert current date and time with seconds
  Gave an error when the formatting of the sheet was protected. This is now fixed, in that case only the date and time will be entered in the cell and the cell formatting will not be changed.

  Fixed the error at line 1350 that a sheet couldn't be renamed in certain  ocasions.

  In certain situations you could get an error when you started the utility after having used it before in the same Excel session. This is now fixed.
