Change Formula Reference Style (A1, $A1, A$1, $A$1)...

This tool changes the reference style used in formulas in your selected cells.
It allows you to quickly update multiple formulas at once.

You can change cell references to:

• Relative referencing (A1)
• Absolute column, relative row ($A1)
• Relative column, absolute row (A$1)
• Absolute referencing ($A$1)

Examples:

• =A1*(B12/100) → =$A$1*($B$12/100) (converted to absolute referencing)
• =C5*D2 → =C$5*D$2 (converted to absolute rows, relative columns)
• =F10+G3 → =$F10+$G3 (converted to absolute columns, relative rows)
• =SUM($A$1:$A$5) → =SUM(A1:A5) (converted from absolute to relative referencing)
• =$B$2/$C$2 → =B2/C2 (converted from absolute to relative referencing)

This is useful when you want to lock or unlock rows, columns, or both before copying formulas across your worksheet, without editing each formula manually.
